CGH Medical Center
CGH Medical Center is a progressive acute care facility located in the Rock River Valley region of Northern Illinois. Since opening in 1909, CGH has consistently received high ratings for delivering quality care to our community, positive public awareness, safety, and high patient satisfaction. Inpatient services include a 36-bed medical unit, a 28-bed surgical unit, 10 birthing center suites, 6 pediatric beds, and 18 CCU/ICU/Biotelemetry beds. Outpatient services include a state-of-the-art Cath Lab and a CAP accredited laboratory. Diagnostic imaging services include a 64-ring CT scanner, nuclear medicine with SPECT scanning, ultrasound, dedicated mammography including digital mammography and an in-house, high field MRI. Other departments and services include a neurology laboratory, a GI laboratory and nutritional support, pain management, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy. In addition, CGH offers an ambulatory surgical center, a Digestive Health Center, physical and occupational therapy, a diabetic education department, a wound care center, pre-hospital paramedic level EMS, and a 24-hour trauma ready emergency department. CGH operates its own Day Care Center adjacent to the campus.

Morrison Community Hospital
Today, Morrison Community Hospital provides medical, surgical, x-ray, and emergency services, as well as several outpatient services. The Family Care Clinic was added in 2006 to meet the communities need for walk-in and general clinic services. The MCH Family Care Clinic has more than 18,000 visits annually. Our family practice physicians and nurse practitioners in the FCC treat patients of all ages. Patients can also see doctors in the following specialties: Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Surgery and Urology. In addition, the hospital added a specialty clinic with doctors who treat patients with diabetes, an otolaryngologist who treats abnormalities of the ears, nose and throat plus a wound care nurse and an ultrasound technologist. Morrison Community Hospital has its own laboratory and pharmacy. Special services such as physical, occupational, respiratory, and speech therapies plus counseling services are offered. Many community members volunteer by serving in the hospital auxiliary. Auxiliary generated funds are used to purchase items for the hospital, and to provide scholarships for college students that will be pursuing careers in the health field.
