    Morrison Chamber of Commerce and Cottonwood 4-H Club are proud to announce plans for this year’s Annual Morrison Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 25.  Line-up for the parade begins at 1:00 p.m. at Community State Bank and the parade will proceed, starting at 1:30 p.m., down Main Street to the Post Office.  Participants wishing to have their costumes judged, need to be lined up by 1:15 p.m. Because of the generous donations from local businesses, treat bags will be distributed to the first 300 children.     On SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2014—the Cash Mob will meet at 11:00 a.m. at the Morrison Chamber of Commerce, 221 W. Main Street, where the Mob will find out the business that will be MOBBED! What is a Cash Mob? A Cash Mob is a flash mob, but instead of singing and dancing, we spend money as a group! We target the small, local businesses that make our community special in order to give the business owners an economic stimulus.     JOIN THE FUN AT MORRISON'S FIRST COLOR RUN!!! Held in conjunction with the Harvest Hammer and Paint the Town festivities, the Color Run will be held on September 20th at 11:00 a.m., starting from the high school and running up Genesee to the Paint the Town activities in downtown Morrison (officially a 1k run/walk).
