Morrison Community Daycare Center

Morrison Community Day Care Center provides high-quality care for children ages 15 months through 12 years of age whose parents or guardians are away from home during the workday.  Our qualified and experienced teachers and aides provide a relaxed and homelike atmosphere while integrating many activities designed to promote healthy development.  Our core areas of focus include opportunities for self-expression; preschool academics; large and fine motor development; and the introduction and practice of social skills.  We also provide nutritious snacks and lunches; structured pre-school learning time; crafts, games, and outdoor play; nap time; afterschool and summer kids programs; and morning pick-up and drop-off to and from the school through the school district.  Hours of operation are M-F 6:00 am – 5:30 pm.

Sauk Valley Community College

Located between Sterling and Dixon on Illinois Route 2, Sauk Valley Community College is an institution building futures for over 50 years. With quality, affordable education, students can build their futures and expand opportunities. The College provides a range of opportunities in academic transfer degrees, career and technical degrees, adult and continuing education, and community services. The College first received institutional accreditation in March 1972, and has maintained continued accreditation, most recently with a full renewal in 2016. Counties served by SVCC include Bureau, Lee, Henry, Carroll, Ogle, and Whiteside.
